After the management of Executive Jets Services released a statement regarding Naira Marley and Kim Oprah’s flight from Lagos to Abuja for a concert that held despite the ban on flights and public gatherings, the singer has now reacted to their statement.
Due to the outcry that the show elicited online, the authorities sprung into action and yesterday suspended the airline, Executive Jet Services, for flying Naira Marley to Abuja for the infamous concert.
According to the CEO of the airlines, he felt the name ‘Fashola Babatunde’ was that of the Honorable Minister of Works, and not Naira Marley.
In reaction to the airline’s statement, the singer took to his official Twitter to reveal that there’s no way they couldn’t have known that he was who he is, as even the pilot is a fan of him, a “Marlian“.
He wrote on his page,
Do u know that over 20,000 Marlians travel with executive jet a month. We won’t be using ur useless airline again for calling us useless.
Thank God we didn’t crash on that flight sha because we nearly did.
BTW We didn’t book the flight ourselves.
Lool they asked for our names on the jet though and looooooooool ur pilot is a Marlian and everybody there is a Marlian too.. my name is Azeez Adeshina Fashola and my lil brothers name is moshood babatunde fashola and u was begging me to tag y’all
